About Dr. Kelli H
I’m Kelli Hendrickson, PhD, PCC, CMC.
Ph.D. in STEM, Career and Leadership Coach, Research Professor. Not satisfied with any singular label, I crafted a portfolio career to realize my full potential. I spent decades assessing my success and happiness through a very narrow window. An “a-ha” moment in 2018 allowed me to knock out that window and turn it into a door that I could step through. Since that time, I have broken the mold on what defines my career and happiness. The current labels I subscribe to are Research Associate Professor, Career and Leadership Coach, Consultant, Mentor Coach, and Founder. I am also a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. These labels are all my superpowers, and I bring them to every piece of work I do.
Career & Leadership: In my work with STEM professionals, I help technical leaders, researchers, and subject matter experts develop leadership presence, communication skills, and decision-making confidence while honoring the strengths that brought them into STEM in the first place — curiosity, rigor, and problem-solving. I believe coaching in STEM works best when it respects analytical thinking while expanding emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and relational leadership capacity. Rather than asking STEM professionals to “become different people,” I help them expand their range while staying authentic to who they are.
Mentor Coach: My mentor coaching focuses on helping coaches move beyond understanding the ICF Core Competencies conceptually and into confidently embodying them in real conversations. I create learning experiences that are interactive, practical, and grounded in how adults actually build skill. Sessions often include real-play coaching, reflective exercises, and targeted practice designed to help coaches experiment, build confidence, and integrate new behaviors into their authentic coaching style. While my approach is grounded in evidence-based learning and ICF standards, coaches often describe it as energizing, supportive, and surprisingly enjoyable.
At the heart of my work is the belief that growth happens when people are both supported and challenged. I create mentor coaching and coaching spaces where clients can experiment, reflect, and stretch into their next level of skill with clarity and confidence. Whether working with developing coaches or STEM professionals stepping into leadership, my goal is the same: to help people build capability, resilience, and alignment between who they are and how they show up professionally.
